The Biden-Harris Administration has announced an additional $4.8 billion in student loan debt relief for 80,300 borrowers, as part of enhancements to income-driven repayment (IDR) forgiveness and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). This latest measure brings the total debt cancellation under this administration to nearly $132 billion, benefiting over 3.6 million Americans. The Administration's efforts include a substantial $2.2 billion through IDR adjustments and $2.6 billion through PSLF. Earlier initiatives also launched the SAVE student loan repayment plan and increased Pell Grants, demonstrating a continued commitment to reducing the burden of student loans and making higher education more accessible
